Suddenly I get numerous 'newsletter subscription' mails in my inbox, some declaring I subscribed and some asking me to confirm my subscription.Samples:

GOOD. A spammer getting all worked up isn't spamming.
Too bad none of the mails tell me which IP address I 'subscribed' from, although I have a vague idea I need to search in the area of Heerlen / Kerkrade in the Netherlands.All the subscriptions without confirmations will be reported as spam naturally.
